This Privacy Policy describes how MedGroup, LLC. (referred to as “MedGroup”, “our”, “we” or “us” in this Policy) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information, what choices you have relating to your personal information, and how you can contact us.

Thank you for choosing to use MedGroup L.L.C.'s websites, products and services, collectively referred to as the “Services”.

When you use our Services, you may share some personal data with us.

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Therefore, MedGroup is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice describes how MedGroup collects and processes your personal data through the Services referred to in this Privacy Notice.

Scope and Objectives

When You use the Services and/or visit any of MedGroup’s websites, You agree to the terms described in this Privacy Notice. By doing so, You authorize MedGroup to collect and process your data, according to the practices set forth in this Privacy Notice, as well as in accordance with applicable laws.

MedGroup has updated this Privacy Notice to ensure that its policies for regulating processes and security measures for the collection and processing of personal data are in accordance with the law applicable in the Republic of Kosovo, namely Law No. 06/L-082 on Personal Data Protection. Furthermore, MedGroup will make every effort to ensure that personal data collected from users will be treated in accordance with the applicable laws in the Republic of Kosovo.

MedGroup also voluntarily and constantly tries to respect, and harmonize its practices with, the highest international standards regarding the protection of privacy and personal data, such as the General Data Protection Regulation, (GDPR) of the European Union, which entered into force on May 25, 2018

This Privacy Notice applies to and is applicable to any user of any of the websites, products and/or Services offered by and/or through MedGroup.

Automatic Data

Certain types of data related to your interaction with our Services are collected automatically using cookies and other technologies when your browser or device accesses the MedGroup Services. When using the MedGroup Services, you will be presented with the opportunity to consent to this Privacy Notice, including the collection of your data automatically. However, please be aware that, if You choose not to agree to the terms of this Privacy Notice, You may not be able to use essential features of our Services, and that the same applies in cases of revocation of Your consent.

Processing of Personal Data

We may collect and process your personal data, including from different devices, when You:

  • Use our Services.

  • Register an account with MedGroup.

  • Update or complete personal data in your account.

  • Communicate with MedGroup regarding its Services.

  • Order, and/or purchase, from, and/or through, MedGroup Services.

  • You encounter other circumstances, as may be specified within this Privacy Notice.

Lawfulness of Personal Data Processing

In each case, as described above, and/or other cases, the collection and processing of your personal data is carried out only when MedGroup is sure of the legality of such processing, and when:

  • You give your consent to such processing.

  • Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.

  • Processing is necessary to comply with any legal obligation.

  • Processing is necessary for the protection of your vital interests.

  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a task of public interest, or for the exercise of any official authority.

  • The processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests exercised by MedGroup and/or a third party, except when such interests are exceeded by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms, which require the protection of personal data, especially if it is a minor.

Please note that the processing of your data, as provided by you, is based on the existing legal guidelines, and not always based on the consent given by you. Consent, and/or withdrawal of your consent, does not constitute a sufficient reason to stop and/or limit the processing of your data, as long as there are other legal bases for the processing of such data.

Data from Cookies

"Cookies" are standard files that are placed and stored on the devices that you use to access the MedGroup Services. In this Privacy Notice, we will refer to such files with the word "cookies" according to the version written in the English language.

MedGroup uses cookies to provide you with essential features and Services, including:

  • To recognize You when You log in to use the MedGroup Services.

  • To conduct diagnostics on the performance of our Services in order to improve their functionality.

  • To improve security and prevent fraudulent activities.

To understand your interactions with our Services in order to personalize the content provided to you, including advertising.

Storage of Personal Data

MedGroup retains your personal data for as long as is necessary or relevant to the provision of our Services, in accordance with the relevant laws in force. In addition, MedGroup may retain your personal data even after closing your account to prevent fraud, collect any outstanding debt, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and/or contracts, for purposes defined by tax legislation, to assist any investigation, and to take other actions permitted and/or required by applicable laws.

In cases where it is no longer necessary for MedGroup, when the legal obligations to store your personal data end, or when the purpose for which your personal data was collected and/or stored ceases, MedGroup destroys the aforementioned data in a safe manner, as well as in accordance with the applicable law on privacy and protection of personal data, and with MedGroup‘s internal policies.

The types of cookies that MG uses include:

  • Necessary cookies: These cookies are necessary for the operation of MedGroup Services, and therefore, cannot be turned off. Such cookies do not store any personally identifiable data.

  • Performance cookies: These cookies enable MedGroup to monitor visits and traffic to its websites, and are used to measure and improve the performance of our Services.

Marketing cookies: These cookies are used by advertising networks and social networks to configure the ads you see so that they present content that is relevant to you.

Data from Third Party Websites

We use the data referenced in this Privacy Notice to help display advertisements that are more relevant to You, measure their effectiveness, and recognize your devices in order to provide You with such advertisements. When you visit third-party websites that are part of the MedGroup platform, we may receive usage data.

Data from Other Sources

MedGroup may supplement your personal data with data collected by third parties, adding it to your existing account data. For example, MedGroup may collect and use demographic data that is available in the public domain, as permitted by applicable laws.

Data that MG Discloses or Displays

MedGroup never sells your personal data. MedGroup uses the data provided by You in accordance with Your agreement with this Privacy Notice, only when there is a legal basis defined by the applicable law for the protection of personal data, to provide better Services and display more relevant advertisements to You.

MedGroup does not collect copies of personal documents or any other documents from potential customers. MedGroup can ask users for personal identification documents only in cases where MedGroup offers paid services, and it has reason to doubt the authenticity of the order or information provided by users. The aforementioned documents will be immediately deleted from the MedGroup database as soon as the intended verification is completed.

Service Providers

MedGroup uses service providers to perform functions and provide services in the areas where it operates. For example, MedGroup uses various third-party services, such as Google Analytics or Hotjar, to help provide its Services, such as hosting MedGroup 's servers or applications, or to help us understand the use of our Services.

MedGroup shares payment information with service providers to process payments, stop, detect, or investigate fraud or other prohibited activities, to help resolve disputes, such as refunds or later collection, as well as other issues related to the acceptability of debit and/or credit cards.

In cases where you use services provided by service providers who are third parties, MedGroup makes every effort to ensure that, when the third party has contact with personal data that has been collected or stored by MedGroup, the third party agrees to handle the aforementioned data in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Notice, and according to the applicable laws for the protection of privacy and personal data.

Privacy Practices of Third Parties

This Privacy Notice addresses and governs only the processing, use, disclosure and storage of personal data that MedGroup collects from You. If You disclose Your personal information to others, or if You are redirected to a third party website, then please note that the policies, practices and privacy notices of the relevant third party will be applicable. MedGroup expressly disclaims responsibility, and cannot be held responsible for any misuse and/or damage that may be caused to You by third parties, when You share Your data with such parties.

MedGroup encourages you to carefully evaluate the privacy and security policies of third parties before entering into any transaction with them, and/or sharing your information with them.

Disclaimer for Third Parties

The MedGroup Services may contain various web pages that redirect users to other websites operated by third parties. Redirecting to such websites occurs only after users click on the relevant buttons and choose to visit third-party websites.
Under no circumstances will MedGroup be responsible for the conditions governing the collection, processing, and protection of personal data that are applicable to such third-party websites. The aforementioned websites do not belong to, are not owned, and/or operated by MedGroup. Therefore, MedGroup expressly disclaims responsibility for actions and/or damages that may be caused by third-party websites that users choose to visit

Right to be Forgotten / Right to Erasure

In accordance with Law No. 06/L082 for the Protection of Personal Data, of the Republic of Kosovo, and in accordance with the General Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data of the European Union (GDPR), You have the right to request from MedGroup the right to "be forgotten", which means the deletion of your personal data.

In such cases, MedGroup will take action to fulfill your request within the optimal time frame. However, please note that such requests will be fulfilled by MedGroup in accordance with the legal conditions, and only when MedGroup is satisfied that it has no legal and/or contractual obligation to continue to store your data.

Please note that your request to be deleted will not always be automatically approved, and that MedGroup will comply with your request to delete your personal data only when there are no further obligations to retain such data.

MedGroup protects your data using high technological, physical, and administrative security measures in order to minimize the risk of any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of data. Some of the protective measures that MedGroup uses are "firewalls", data encryption, high levels of control and authorization criteria for access to your personal data. If You have reason to believe that Your account has been compromised in any way, please contact Us immediately using the contact details published on the corporate website (see contact details).

Amendments, Changes of the Privacy

MedGroup may modify and/or supplement this Privacy Notice at any time, by updating and publishing the modifications and/or supplements on this website. The most recent version of this Privacy Notice will be published on our corporate website, and will govern the processing of your personal data.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Notice, You will be notified immediately via push notifications, email, social media posts, and/or through any of the communication methods set forth in this Privacy Notice, or in the General Terms of Use (see General Terms of Use). All the aforementioned notification methods are considered official. By continuing to access and/or use the MedGroup Services after any modifications and/or additions to the Privacy Notice become effective, You agree to such updates.

Please note that if the modifications and/or additions to this Privacy Notice are of a substantial nature, your refusal to agree to such updates may lead to the termination of your relationship with MedGroup, namely the termination of the provision of our Services to you. Therefore, if You choose not to share with MedGroup certain data, You may not be able to use certain Services provided by MedGroup

In the event that any part, paragraph and/or subheading of this Privacy Notice is considered and/or found to be invalid by any competent authority for any reason, then the other parts of this Privacy Notice remain in force and retain full legal effect, without being affected by the part considered invalid.
